Don’t look around, I am talking about cookies in your PC or laptop. Website are reading your behavior and search patterns through cookies they set in your PC.

Some big online companies are sealing these search patterns from your PC and using them to show customized advertisements based on these stats. Well, if you love watching ads similar to your search behavior then there is no worries let companies use your stats because they are doing good for you and advertisers too. But if you are worried that these companies are actually stealing your personal data then you really need to worry about this.

Remember how Facebook is selling your personal data like in which city are in right now, do you love travelling, you watch lot of movies etc to advertisers. Wondering, how Facebook get to know whether I love watching movies, Its your status messages. Yes, they are being recorded to personalize the advertisements being showed to you.

Solution: Be logged of or signed out while using google search.

There are other companies yahoo, bing etc who are doing the same business but the giant (Google) is doing this more aggressively.

How to Make Windows 7 Bootable USB (Pen Drive)

Prerequisites:

A Pen Drive (USB) minimum 4GB. Windows 7 is little big ( little or big.. Hehe ).

A DVD drive  to copy Win7 DVD in Pen Drive. (If your DVD is not working, call your friend who has a working DVD Drive).

Little knowledge about how to change Boot Sequence to set USB as Primary Boot. (Don’t worry, I will explain this step too (After-all I am your friend, Right )).

Lets Start the Process:

If your DVD drive is not working, use your friends computer for this step:

Make ISO file of your Windows 7 DVD. Use Magic ISO for creating ISO image for free. If you already have any other ISO making software use that.

Time to use Windows 7 USB DVD tool ->  Download  OR Alternate Link.

Download it and Install.

Run Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool from All Programs.

Now follow these steps below:

Browse already Created ISO file here.

Choose USB Device because you need to transfer ISO file in USB. Remember directly copying .iso file in Pen Drive (USB) will not work.

Choose already plugged in Pen Drive here. ( Caution: All data will be lost from the Pen Drive )

Let the Process complete. This will create Bootalbe Windows 7 USB / Pen Drive.

Now you have Bootable Windows 7 Pen Drive and you are all set to install windows via Pen Drive (USB).

Follow steps below on computer which is supposed to be formatted.

Go to your boot menu.

You need to change the Boot Sequence. Because we want USB at First Boot.

Save Boot Settings and System will Reboot. Don’t unplug Pen Drive.

Now your computer will start booting with USB Drive which contains Windows 7 setup.

Install Windows Normally.

Thats all. Easy haa!!

Its very simple and you can do it easily. For wordpress users: you can use this trick to embed a Facebook video on your website without using any plugin (Using many plugins utilizes valuable resources which slow down site performance ). So i prefer no-plugin way to do such tasks.

Step 1: Open Facebook and select any video you like to embed on your blog.

Step 2: Play the video and wait until it finishes because only then we can go the video page.

Step 6: If you will copy paste this edited url to the browser then you will see a full screen ready to play video. Now we need to make the embed code so that we can use it on a website or blog.

You need to change only “xxxxxxyyyyyzzzzz” to your video code.

Just paste this code to the your site and you are good to go.

For WordPress users: Make sure you paste the code under HTML tab and not under Visual tab while making a post. Pasting the code under Visual tab will only paste the code and will not embed the video. So be little careful.

In a regular search engine where we search something by writing something in the search bar. This is text vs text (Input text – get text). But what about images ( Input Image – Get Image OR Input Image – Get Text ) .

Step 1:  You need a webserver. Install either iis or apache. Here is a bundle of (Apache, mysql, php) as XAMPP. Click here to DOWNLOAD XAMPP. Download Xampp and install. After install open your web browser and punch http://localhost it should show something like this.

Step 3: Now you have hosted a webpage test.html you can check that by opening this link on your browser http://localhost/test.html

Step 4: If you have a static IP address then its very easy to configure all the thing. If you don’t have static IP then you can call to MTNL call center and ask them to provide the static IP address. (Don’t worry, minimum 1 IP address is free with MTNL Triband Unlimited plan).

Step 5: Open http://192.168.1.1 and login with admin/admin (Default router id and password is admin).  Go to Advanced Setup > NAT > Virtual Server.

There you will see a list like this:

Make sure you have static IP configuration.
Thats it. Save the configuration and your router will forward the port number 80 to your computer’s port 80. (Hope you know that Port 80 is used for http protocol. Like Port 25 is used for FTP).
Now you can ask your friend to open your hosted website with the static IP address given by MTNL. For Ex. http://59.177.10.236/test.html

If you like to check it by yourself then you need a proxy to look at the hosted website. Open www.kproxy.com or any other proxy site, there try to open your site .
Make sure your firewall is not blocking the port 80. Your site should get open.

Basically there are 2 different things when we transfer or share a file over a network. Whether we are  sharing a file over internet (both users are not connected over a LAN) or intranet (both users are over a common LAN).
