About Sudeep Rana

Hello Friends, My name is Sudeep Kumar Rana. I am from New Delhi, the capital of India.

If you are still reading this page then let me tell you something about myself : I am from a middle class family. A family where life itself is a struggle. My journey had started in a small rented one room house, where you can’t stretch your body because there was no room for that. I had studied in a government school ( family financial problem ) but got lucky, because I had got some good teachers who taught me what’s good and what’s bad in life (a very basic education, but only few people can explain it). I was a bright student and topped my school for 3 times in a row. Everyone at school knew my name, I felt proud.

A major change in my life came when because of some family issues I was not able to concentrate on my studies and had got only 58% marks in 12th standard. I was planning to take Physics Hons in college but this percentage had left no choice in front of me but to cry. I cried all night. After 3 days when I was reading news paper there was an article written by a professor who had quoted Shri. Krishna’s words – I don’t remember the exact words but the crux was:

“Only you have the power to defeat yourself, no one else can defeat you”

This small article gave me enough confidence to fight back again and I had decided to appear once again in 12th class. This time I  had got enough marks to take physics (H) in Delhi university. But there were some more turns waiting for me. During my final year I was among those few students who had got first division but my bad luck was not ready to leave me. I had failed in a subsidiary paper. Although as per university rules I was eligible to receive a degree but this wasn’t Physics Hons. degree, that was a B.Sc degree. I again said NO to my bad luck and had appeared in subsidiary exams after 3 months. Cleared it, and got my B.Sc. Physics (H) degree. But those 3 months had forced me to drop my year. Again a challenge.

I was developing an interest in the internet. I had started learning what is website, basic programming, SEO and all kind of stuff. Within few months I was all set to offer my services to few US clients (cutting long story short). I had made few accounts on forums (service related) and have started my seo service. I was doing everything by passion and not by force. My clients were very happy with my work. Within 8 months I had got enough money to pay fee for my Master’s degree, hostel charges etc. But I decided not to stop the work. I taught everything to my younger sister and then I left home for my Post Grad.

That one year gap had changed my life completely. That gap year had taught me how to fight back?, what is passion?, what is dedication? and more importantly what is life?. Today, I am married. I work from home and she is a teacher.

We both believe that only right education is the key of a successful life. We are still trying understand the right education concept. Today what we study in schools and colleges is not the right education. In old indian education system (gurukul) there were two words ( shiksha and vidya ). Every school is imparting only shiksha but no one is teaching vidya (gyan). This second missing factor is the missing key which makes us a citizen, a stable minded person, a person who can fight in any negative situation, a person who never compromises to their moral values.

Still I am exploring life. If you like to read what my mind says then please do visit : http://SudeepRana.com
